Three Must Have Men’s Fashions This Autumn & Winter

Autumn and winter can be one of the toughest seasons to get right when it comes to fashion. While we’re still having nightmares about the summer disappearing, it’s all about striking a balance between warmth and style.

For this reason, it’s crucial to make sure that you don’t over or underdress and leave yourself at the mercy of the elements, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the fashion curve at the same time.

We’ve picked out three trends that we’re expecting to take off this winter…

    Bomber Jackets

The bomber is a classic men’s wardrobe staple, especially with the 90s nostalgia everyone seems to be going through at the moment.

The simplicity of a good bomber jacket makes it easy to wear, but it’s also a very lightweight piece, meaning it’s great for these awkward times of year when you don’t know whether to wrap up or not.

While a great bomber will look good in a casual outfit with jeans and trainers, it’ll look equally as good in a smarter look with a shirt.

If it is an especially cold autumn or winters day, why not layer up one of these with a sweater or even a heavier jacket?

If you want to stand out a little, why not opt for a suede, leather or a slightly longer bomber such as these from Lakeland Leather?

Bomber jackets look like they are staying in style for some time to come, so if you haven’t already, make sure you’ve got this key piece in your wardrobe.

    Green with Envy

Military influenced clothing continues to be popular into autumn and winter, and this means that green is far and away the most popular colour to be seen in.

Whether it’s a proper military khaki or olive, or a brighter shade of green, the ways to get on board with this trend are almost endless.

Not only is there a wide range of shades to choose from, but you can also go green in almost any piece of your wardrobe.

Start off small with something such as this luxury cashmere crew neck sweater from The Tailor Retailored before working towards mixing and matching different hues in a brave all-green ensemble.

    Footwear

Autumn is a perfect time to channel your inner Elvis and break out the suede shoes. Suede is an extremely popular choice at the moment across the board, but of course, the main danger here is the rain!

Want to play it a bit safer? No man should be without a simple pair of white trainers such as these from Nike.

They’re simple, they go with anything and they won’t be going out of fashion anytime soon.

While it’s important to keep everything looking good, Autumn and Winter is as much about staying comfortable.

After all, Autumn and Winter can be deceptive, with the bright days being the chilliest and vice versa, so make sure you’ve got a wardrobe equipped for every eventuality!
